Yea-Sacc® Horse Digestion Supplement Questions

  • No, you do not need to change your feeding program. Yea-Sacc equine digestive supplement will enhance the nutrition you are giving, but not alter your vitamin/mineral ratios of your dietary program.

  • The effects, such as stabilizing the gut pH, are somewhat temporary. If you do discontinue feeding, the digestive system most likely will return to its previous condition.

  • No, you cannot overfeed. Horses will not use what they don’t need. It does not build up in their system.

  • Yes, you can feed more if needed. The amounts given are a maintenance serving. At times of stress to the horse’s system, you may need to feed twice, or more than that amount.

  • Most horses readily slurp it up when mixed in with their other feed. Picky eaters may need to get used to the fragrance and flavor gradually. As they become accustomed to the taste, horses often will eat it all by itself.

  • No you do not need to refrigerate it. However, it should be stored sealed, in a cool, dry place, not in direct sunlight.

  • Problems such as horse diarrhea, gassiness, or fiber digestion will improve in a few days. However other benefits such as improved coat and hoof condition, etc. may take longer.
